My name is Karen Bentley, and altogether I've lost 130 pounds.
Well, more accurately I lost 70 pounds once; then regained most of it, and had to take off 60 pounds all over
again – which comes to a total of 130 pounds. I thought I could handle a little sugar now and then, and I guess
I had to discover the hard way that I can't.
When it comes to weight loss and weight management, I walk the talk, which means that I live and eat in a
sugar-free way that enables me to keep my weight in a normal range. And I do it every single day of my life,
whether I feel like it or not.
I offer you tangible, living proof that someone who is completely ordinary in every way can solve a lifetime
weight problem. Everything I do can be copied, adapted and used by you. All that I know and do is freely shared.
Nothing is held back.
Karen Bentley at 195 lbs
Because of my life-long weight issue, I have been studying weight loss practices and experimenting with diets
ever since I turned 20. For the past 10 years I've also been teaching and writing about weight loss and
out-of-control eating. During this time I've written four books that specifically deal with weight issues:
The Big Heart Way to Permanent Weight Loss, Stop Out-of-Control Eating, The Sugar-Free Solution and
most recently, The SUGAR-FREE MIRACLE™ Diet Handbook. I am one of very few sugar-free eating
experts in the world today. I have counseled hundreds of people in successful sugar-free eating weight loss
practices.
I have a bachelor's degree in education (with a concentration in exercise physiology) from Northeastern
University in Boston, Massachusetts where I graduated summa cum laude as class valedictorian and winner
of the Boston Bouve Award for academic achievement.
My life is dedicated to the recognition of Self as Love. The awareness of non-romantic Love is still rare on
Planet Earth, but I have it. I bring the rich option of a deeply spiritual approach to the weight loss process.
My one-of-a-kind POWER TO STOP: The Ultimate Spiritual Weight Loss Solution invites you to become
a spiritual warrior and to apply four miracle skills to stop self from out-of-control eating. The POWER TO
STOP: The Ultimate Spiritual Weight Loss Solution is about harnessing the power of Love to transcend
the ego and undo the impulse to self-destruct. Love is the only thing that really matters – especially Love of
Self. And this is what you rediscover through the POWER TO STOP.
Another way that I share my awareness of Love is by writing book and movie reviews exclusively from a love-based,
spiritual perspective. You are welcome to visit my website,
www.spiritualreviewer.com, check out
some reviews, and/or subscribe to my FREE monthly spiritual reviewer newsletter. Once a month you receive a gentle
reminder of love in your email box. I hate spam, so you never have to worry that your name or contact info will be
used inappropriately.
I'm also the host and executive producer of MY THIN LIFESTYLE, a weekly national radio show heard at
www.webtalkradio.net (search for me,
Karen Bentley, or for My Thin Lifestyle) that provides leading edge information and inspiration to get thin
and stay that way. Guests include experts of all kinds, bestselling cookbook authors, celebrities from TV shows,
real-life people who have lost weight and kept it off, scientists, doctors and anyone else who has something useful
or uplifting to offer the MY THIN LIFESTYLE audience. Even though my personal preference is a sugar-free approach
to weight loss and weight management, guests on the MY THIN LIFESTYLE show represent and discuss the full range of
weight loss options that are available.
There are very, very few other people who have the same passion, knowledge, and hands-on practical experience for
weight loss, physical education and spiritual awareness that can equal mine. This makes me uniquely qualified to
serve you, to inspire you and to lift you up out of the place where you are stuck.
I am a physical educator, a sugar-free eating expert and a spiritual guide. Any recommendations or guidelines that
I provide are my personal opinions and are not meant to replace or override the advice of your physician or health
care provider. Please always first check with your health care provider if you're pregnant or nursing, if you have
a known medical condition of any kind, or if you're even slightly concerned about the safety of any suggestions.
Above all else, you are asked to love yourself, which is another way of asking you not to hurt yourself.
